ভারতীয় চিনি ও জিরা মজুতের অভিযোগে ময়মনসিংহের ফুলপুরে দুই সমন্বয়ককে গ্রে’প্তার করেছে যৌথবাহিনী। আজ বুধবার বিকেলে পৌর শহরের আমুয়াকান্দা বাজার এলাকায় অভিযান পরিচালনা করে ভারতীয় মালামালসহ তাদের গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। গ্রেপ্তার দুজন হলেন বৈষ্যমবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের ফুলপুর উপজেলার সমন্বয়ক জিল্লুর রহমান হৃদয় (২৮) ও মাসুদ রানা (২৬)।
ফুলপুর থানার ওসি সৈয়দ আব্দুল হাদি এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি জানান, গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে সেনাবাহিনীর মেজর ইব্রাহীমের নেতৃত্বে যৌথবাহিনী অ’ভি’যান চালায়। এসময় ভারতীয় পণ্য গুদামজাত করার বৈধ কোনো কাগজপত্র দেখাতে না পারায় তাদেরকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। একই সঙ্গে ১২০ বস্তা চিনি এবং ১৫ বস্তা জিরা জব্দ করে পুলিশ হেফাজতে নেওয়া হয়েছে। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে ভারতীয় মালামাল চোরাচালানের অভিযোগে বিশেষ ক্ষমতা আইনে ফুলপুর থানায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে।
