সিরাজগঞ্জ-৩ আসনের নবনির্বাচিত জাতীয় সংসদ সদস্য ভিপি আয়নুল হক-কে বর্ণাঢ্য সংবর্ধনা দিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ মুক্তিযোদ্ধা সংসদ, তাড়াশ উপজেলা কমান্ড। শনিবার (৪ এপ্রিল) সকালে উপজেলা মুক্তিযোদ্ধা সংসদ হলরুমে আয়োজিত এ অনুষ্ঠানটি উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
অনুষ্ঠানে উপজেলার বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে আগত বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা অংশগ্রহণ করে নবনির্বাচিত সংসদ সদস্যকে ফুলেল শুভেচ্ছা জানান। সংবর্ধনা অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা মো. আজিজুর রহমান আরজু। শুরুতেই অতিথিকে ফুল দিয়ে বরণ করে নেওয়া হয় এবং পরে সম্মাননা ক্রেস্ট প্রদান করা হয়।
অনুষ্ঠানে স্থানীয় রাজনৈতিক, সামাজিক ও প্রশাসনিক ব্যক্তিবর্গ বক্তব্য রাখেন। বক্তারা নবনির্বাচিত এমপিকে অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে তাড়াশের সার্বিক উন্নয়ন, জনগণের কল্যাণ এবং মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের অধিকার ও মর্যাদা রক্ষায় তার কার্যকর ভূমিকা প্রত্যাশা করেন।
সংবর্ধিত অতিথির বক্তব্যে এমপি ভিপি আয়নুল হক বলেন, “মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা জাতির শ্রেষ্ঠ সন্তান। তাদের ত্যাগ ও সংগ্রামের বিনিময়েই আমরা স্বাধীনতা অর্জন করেছি। এই মহান অবদান চিরকাল শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে স্মরণ করা হবে।” তিনি আরও বলেন, স্বাধীনতার ঘোষণার পর বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা জীবন বাজি রেখে যুদ্ধে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়েন এবং দীর্ঘ নয় মাসের রক্তক্ষয়ী সংগ্রামের মাধ্যমে স্বাধীনতা অর্জিত হয়।
তিনি মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের সম্মান ও মর্যাদা রক্ষায় সর্বাত্মক কাজ করার অঙ্গীকার ব্যক্ত করেন এবং সরকারের গৃহীত বিভিন্ন কল্যাণমূলক উদ্যোগ বাস্তবায়নের আশ্বাস দেন। পাশাপাশি তাড়াশ উপজেলার অবকাঠামোগত উন্নয়ন ও জনসেবামূলক কার্যক্রম আরও জোরদারের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেন তিনি।
অনুষ্ঠানের শেষপর্যায়ে দেশ ও জাতির কল্যাণ কামনায় বিশেষ দোয়া ও মোনাজাত অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
