পবিত্র ঈদুল আজহা উপলক্ষ্যে সিরাজগঞ্জের তাড়াশে ” তালম স্টুডেন্টস’ এসোসিয়েশন” কর্তৃক একদিন ব্যাপী ফুটবল টুর্ণামেন্ট এর পুরষ্কার বিতরণ অনুষ্ঠান সফলভাবে সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে। এতে অংশগ্রহণ করেন ৮ টি দল। উদ্বোধনী ম্যাচে অংশ নেয়, তালম খাসপাড়া বনাম তালম সড়াতলা এবং ম্যাচটি পরিচালনা করেন, তালম উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক হাবিবুর রহমান । এতে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়ে ৪০০০ টাকার প্রাইজ মানি গ্রহন করেন, তালম নগর পাড়া এবং রানার্স- আপ হয়ে ২০০০ টাকার প্রাইজমানি গ্রহণ করেন তালম আদারপাড়া। ম্যান অফ দ্যা ম্যাচ হিসেবে মনোনীত হন তালম নগরপাড়া হযরত আলী।
এসোসিয়েশন এর সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো. মামদুদ সরকার বলেন, আমরা সকলের সহযোগিতা নিয়ে টুর্ণামেন্ট সফলভাবে সম্পূর্ণ করতে পারায় সকলকে ধন্যবাদ জানাই। সভাপতি সজিব সরকার বলেন, আমরা আমাদের এসোসিয়েশন এর মাধ্যমে এলাকার যুব সমাজকে খেলাধূলার প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করতে সর্বত্রক চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছি। এলাকার সচেতন মহলকে এ কার্যক্রমে এগিয়ে আসার আহ্বান করছি। এসময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন ও সহযোগিতা করেন, তালম ইউনিয়ন ছাত্রদলের সভাপতি নাহিদ হাসান নাজিম সরকার। এসময় আরো উপস্থিত ছিলেন ও অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বক্তব্য রাখেন, এসোসিয়েশন এর সন্মানিত উপদেষ্টামন্ডীর সদস্য ও গুল্টাবাজার উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী শিক্ষক মো. রেজাউল করিম সরকার।
খেলা সফলভাবে সম্পূর্ণ করতে তত্ত্বাবধান করেন প্রশাসনিক বোর্ডের সদস্য, মোঃ হাফিজ, মোঃ আরিফুল ইসলাম , মোঃ আলমগীর, আহসান রাব্বি ও ফিরোজ আহমেদ। এতে সার্বিক সহযোগিতা করেন, মোঃ রেজা।
প্রশাসনিক বোর্ডের সদস্য ফিরোজ আহমেদ বলেন, আমরা এবছর টিএফএল সূচনাটা করেছি, পরবর্তীতে আরো বড় পরিসরে আয়োজন করব ইনশাআল্লাহ।
