আইপিএলের লিগ পর্বের খেলা শেষ পর্যায়ে। আর একটি করে ম্যাচ বাকি প্রত্যেক দলের। ইতোমধ্যে শেষ ম্যাচ খেলতে বেঙ্গালুরু পৌঁছে গেছে চেন্নাই।বৃহস্পতিবার দুদলেরই অনুশীলন ছিল চিন্নাস্বামী স্টেডিয়ামে। তখনই এক সুযোগে প্রতিপক্ষ দলের সাজঘরে চলে যান ধোনি। তাকে স্বাগত জানান বেঙ্গালুরুর ক্রিকেটার ও সাপোর্ট স্টাফরা।ইতোমধ্যে ১৩টি ম্যাচ খেলে ফেলেছে চেন্নাই, তাদের পয়েন্ট ১৪ পয়েন্ট। সমসংখ্যক ম্যাচ খেলেছেন কোহলিরা, তাদের পয়েন্ট ১২। আগামী শনিবার চেন্নাইয়ের বিপক্ষে কোহলির বেঙ্গালুরুর লিগ পর্বের শেষ ম্যাচ। চেন্নাই জিতলে প্লে-অফে চলে যাবে। অন্যদিকে বেঙ্গালুরুকে শুধু জিতলেই হবে না, নেট রান রেট ভালো করতে হবে। প্রথমে ব্যাট করলে চেন্নাইকে ১৮ রানে হারাতে হবে কোহলিদের। আবার পরে ব্যাট করলে ধোনিদের রান ১৮.২ ওভারে টপকে যেতে হবে বেঙ্গালুরুকে।
এমন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ম্যাচের আগে বৃহস্পতিবার হঠাৎ প্রতিপক্ষ শিবিরে হাজির মহেন্দ্র সিংহ ধোনি। অনুশীলনের ফাঁকে প্রতিপক্ষ দলের সাজঘরে হঠাৎ চলে যান ধোনি। তাকে স্বাগত জানান বেঙ্গালুরুর ক্রিকেটার ও স্টাফরা। চা পান করতে করতে সবাই কিছু সময় গল্পে মেতে ওঠেন। ধোনির চা পান আপ্যায়নের ভিডিও সামাজিকমাধ্যমে পোস্ট করেছে আরসিবি কর্তৃপক্ষ।
ক্রিকেটপ্রেমীদের একাংশ মনে করছেন, এবারের আইপিএলের পর অবসর ঘোষণা করতে পারেন ধোনি। ক্রিকেটার হিসাবে আর দেখা যাবে না ভারতকে দুই বিশ্বকাপ এনে দেওয়া সাবেক অধিনায়ককে। তাই আইপিএলের সব মাঠেই ধোনিকে দেখতে ভিড় জমাচ্ছেন তার ভক্তরা।
