সিরাজগঞ্জের তাড়াশে শান্তি ও শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রাখা, সামাজিক অবক্ষয় রোধ এবং আধুনিক উপজেলা গঠনের লক্ষ্যে জাতীয় ইমাম সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।বুধবার (২৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি) সকালে উপজেলা জাতীয় ইমাম সমিতির উদ্যোগে উপজেলা পরিষদ মিলনায়তনে এ সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
উপজেলা ইমাম সমিতির সভাপতি ও উপজেলা পরিষদ জামে মসজিদের খতিব মাওলানা আব্দুল ওহাবের সভাপতিত্বে সমাবেশে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন জাতীয় ইমাম সমিতি সিরাজগঞ্জ জেলা শাখার সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি মাওলানা কেরামত আলী।
প্রধান আলোচক হিসেবে বক্তব্য দেন সিরাজগঞ্জ জেলা ইমাম সমিতির প্রচার সম্পাদক মাওলানা আব্দুস সবুর রহমানী।
এছাড়াও বক্তব্য রাখেন জাতীয় ইমাম সমিতি তাড়াশ উপজেলা শাখার সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি মাওলানা মোক্তার হোসেন, মুফতি আবু রায়হান, সাধারণ সম্পাদক মাওলানা জমশেদ আলী, মাওলানা জহুরুল ইসলাম, আব্দুল কাসেম, মাওলানা ফজলুল হক প্রমুখ।সমাবেশের সঞ্চালনা করেন মাওলানা গোলাম কিবরিয়া।
বক্তারা শান্তি ও শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রাখা, সামাজিক অবক্ষয় রোধ এবং আধুনিক ও বৈষম্যহীন সমাজ প্রতিষ্ঠার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করেন। তারা বলেন, সমাজে বসবাসকারী সকল মানুষের অধিকার সমান, যা নিশ্চিত করতে সবাইকে ঐক্যবদ্ধভাবে কাজ করতে হবে।
সমাবেশে উপজেলার প্রতিটি ইউনিয়নের ইমাম সমিতির সভাপতি ও সম্পাদকসহ বিভিন্ন মসজিদের ইমামগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
