সিরাজগঞ্জে এবারের দাখিল পরীক্ষায় শিক্ষানগরী বলে খ্যাত উল্লাপাড়া উপজেলার চারটি মাদরাসায় একজন ছাত্র ছাত্রী ও পাস করতে পারেনি।
রোববার (১২ মে) মাদরাসা শিক্ষা বোর্ডের ঘোষিত ফলাফলে দেখা যায়, উপজেলার বগুড়া দাখিল মাদরাসা, এলংজানী দাখিল মাদরাসা হাজী আহমেদ আলী দাখিল মাদরাসা ও বড় কোয়ালিবেড় দাখিল মাদরাসায় কোনো পরীক্ষার্থী দাখিল পাস করতে পারেনি।
এছাড়া উপজেলার আরও তিনটি মাদরাসা থেকে মাত্র একজন করে শিক্ষার্থী দাখিল পাস করেছে।
সরেজমিনে গিয়ে জানা গেছে, বগুড়া দাখিল মাদরাসায় ১৫, এলংজানী মাদরাসায় ১২, হাজী আহমেদ আলী মাদরাসায় ১৪ ও বড় কোয়ালিবেড় মাদরাসা থেকে ১২ জন শিক্ষার্থী এবারের দাখিল পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেয়।
এসব মাদরাসার একজন শিক্ষার্থীও পাস করেনি।
অন্যদিকে, উপজেলার খোন্দকার নুরুন্নাহার দাখিল মাদরাসায় ১০, উধুনিয়া দাখিল মাদরাসায় ১৬ ও হাজী আবেদ আলী মেমোরিয়াল মহিলা দাখিল মাদরাসা থেকে ১১ জন পরীক্ষার্থী অংশ নেয়।
এ তিনটি মাদরাসা থেকে মাত্র একজন করে পরীক্ষার্থী পাস করেছে।
এ বিষয়ে এলংজানী দাখিল মাদরাসার সুপার শাহাদৎ হোসেন জানান, তার প্রতিষ্ঠানের দাখিল পরীক্ষার্থীরা বছরের বেশিরভাগ দিনই ক্লাসে অনুপস্থিত ছিল।
এদের অভিভাবকদের বার বার বিষয়টি জানলেও তাতে কোনো কাজ হয়নি। এখন সবাই ফেল করে মাদরাসার দুর্নাম করল। শিক্ষকরা এজন্য খুবই লজ্জিত।
বগুড়া দাখিল মাদরাসার সুপার আতিকুর রহমান জানান, এখানে প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলের ছেলে-মেয়েরা পড়াশোনা করে। এরা একেবারেই লেখাপড়া করে না। অনেক চেষ্টা করেও এদের ক্লাসে মনোযোগী করা যায়নি।
বড় কোয়ালিবেড় দাখিল মাদরাসার সুপার মো. শফিক উদ্দিনের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করলে তিনি জানান, মাদরাসা একদম প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে হওয়ায় এখানকার বেশির ভাগ শিক্ষার্থীরাই প্রতিষ্ঠানে অনুপস্থিত থাকে। শিক্ষার্থীরা নিয়মিত ক্লাস না করার ফলেই এ অবস্থা। বিষয়টি খুবই দুঃখজনক।
এ বিষয়ে উল্লাপাড়া উপজেলা মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তা এ কে এম শামছুল হক জানান, শতভাগ ফেল করা মাদরাসার সুপারদের কারণ দর্শানো হবে। এছাড়া ফেল করার বিষয়টি খতিয়ে দেখে শিক্ষকদের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার জন্য ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছে প্রতিবেদন পাঠানো হবে।
